  • Dwayne Sieck Managing Principal

    Managing Principal

    Dwayne Sieck is a proven executive leader with a strong track record driven by a combination of high performance and calibrated growth. He is the Co-Founder, President and CEO of Farnam Street Real Estate Capital based in Omaha, NE. Mr. Sieck’s professional career has spanned 23 years across three Fortune 500 Companies in the financial services industry, which specifically included: institutional commercial real estate investment, commercial and commercial real estate lending, wealth management, and private client services.

    He served as the president and chief operating officer of Mutual of Omaha Bank, with nearly $9 billion in assets as of December 31, 2019. In this role, Sieck oversaw the development and execution of all aspects of the Bank’s strategic plan. During Mr. Sieck’s 12 years with Mutual of Omaha Bank, it grew from its humble beginnings in late 2007 with $600 million in assets, to over $9 billion in assets by 2019, putting the Bank in the top 3% of all banks nationally by total assets. On January 1, 2020, Mutual of Omaha Bank was sold to CIT. After the sale, Mr. Sieck transitioned the Bank by serving as the president of the Middle Market Banking Division of CIT, overseeing commercial banking across the U.S. footprint.

    Mr. Sieck earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa majoring in Finance with minors in Economics, Business Communications, and Real Estate. He also graduated from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking (SWGSB) program at Southern Methodist University.

    Mr. Sieck is currently serving his second 3-year term on the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank Board as a Director of the Omaha Federal Reserve Bank Branch. He also served for nine years on The University of Northern Iowa’s Real Estate Advisory Council, including three years as its Chair.

    Jason Fisher is the Co-Founder of Farnam Street Real Estate Capital. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Cushman & Wakefield / The Lund Company and is the Managing Principal of The Landmark Building and The Farnam Hotel in Omaha, NE.

    Starting with The Lund Company in 2004, Jason became president in 2010 and assumed the role as CEO in 2022. Jason leads over 350 professionals offering a full range of services, including brokerage, valuation and consulting, client representation, property/facility management, along with project management and development. With Jason’s innovation and commitment to customer service, the company has seen remarkable growth with annual revenues increasing from $4 million, in 2004, to over $21 million currently. In addition to providing strategic leadership, establishing long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies for the Cushman & Wakefield/The Lund Company, Jason has played a critical role in many of Omaha’s significant real estate projects, several of which have won prestigious, local Development Project and/or Deal of the Year awards.

    Jason earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and is a graduate of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Omaha program. Being an active member of the Omaha community, Jason has served or is currently serving on/for the following Boards/Organizations: B.R.A.N.C.H. (Nebraska Children’s Home), Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Leadership Omaha Curriculum Committee, Omaha by Design, The Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber’s Retail Advisory Group, along with The Nebraska Children’s Home Society. Jason is a member of the YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) serving as the YPO Nebraska Chapter’s Education Chair and President.

    Ryan Hill currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Cushman & Wakefield/The Lund Company. Ryan is responsible for overseeing all company accounting practices, including departmental and property level, and ensures compliance with accounting standards imposed by all Federal and State agencies. He oversees the financial reporting and strategic planning of related party real estate portfolios, including industrial, office, retail, land and multi-family. He assists with financial analysis of all contemplated real estate acquisitions, dispositions, developments, and refinancing activities.

    Ryan’s experience includes has provided financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and the coordination of financing on $50 million worth of on property developments that actualized for related parties.

    Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and minor in coaching from Midland Lutheran College.

    General Partner

    Tanya Shapiro serves as President of Cushman & Wakefield/The Lund Company. She oversees the physical, operational, and financial aspects of the Company’s portfolio of multi-family communities and commercial properties.

    Tanya has more than 20 years of leadership and residential real estate experience with both local and national private property management organizations. Her primary responsibilities are managing client accounts and assisting in the growth and development of staff. She is focused on expanding and securing new business, driving portfolio performance through motivating staff to provide outstanding client service, and participating in the internal management of the company.

    Tanya holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Psychology and Communications from Bellevue University. She is also a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) and is a member of the National Apartment Association.

    Megan Beatty manages our investor relations and marketing. With a passion for connecting with people and utilizing her creative side in most everything she does, she strives to provide our investors with a white glove experience from day one. Knowing our investors entrust us with their hard-earned capital, she strongly believes in delivering regular, clear communications and ensuring our investors always have a transparent view of their investment.

    Prior to joining Farnam Street Real Estate Capital, Megan spent 11 years at Mutual of Omaha Bank where she worked closely with the Executive Team, Board of Directors, and Commercial Team on a vast array of marketing and communications and lead several client events, internal and external meetings, and conferences.

    Megan graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

    Investment Analyst

    Ethan Hatcher is an investment analyst for our firm. He is responsible for conducting research for analysis, creating models to track the progress of current investments, analyzing risk and return of future investments for the fund.

    Ethan graduated from Kansas State University with a dual major in Finance and Entrepreneurship. He received a Business Analytics Certificate from the University of Cornell.
